Best Ideas — October 2026 edition
General and impersonal investment research. Not personal financial advice. Forecasts, valuations and model outputs are estimates and may be wrong. See Investment Disclaimer.
The monthly Best Ideas report. This edition ranks the research as it stood on 2026-10-01, the first research run of October 2026; it does not change until the next edition, published with the first run of the following month. Each list is the top five of one registered ranking — a deterministic sort of one published field: no name is manually added or removed, and names not refreshed by that run do not compete (13 held out on an older vintage). Edition research date as of 2026-10-01 · 12d old ▪ ageing
No composite “MCH Top 10” is published. A blend needs a preregistered rule, and none has been validated. Each list names the single field that produced it.
Method. Every ranking and its field is defined on the rankings methodology; the cadence of every publication is on the publication calendar. Each name links to the full research note that supports its rating and fair value. A place on a list is a research view published identically to every reader, not a recommendation that any transaction is suitable for you.
