Cookie Policy

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores in your browser. Cookies can keep you signed in, remember settings, or measure how a site is used. Not every website technology involves cookies: the analytics described below does not.

When you are signed in to the MCH Research platform, the platform uses a small number of strictly necessary cookies:

• an authentication session cookie that keeps you signed in to your account
• an anonymous identifier used to apply rate limits and to support the newsletter sign-up capture
• a short-lived access-grant cookie, scoped to the data path, that permits download of the premium data files you are entitled to

These cookies are required for the signed-in features of the platform to work. They are not used for marketing.

The MCH sites use Vercel Web Analytics to measure aggregate site traffic. Vercel Web Analytics is cookieless: it sets no cookie and does not identify individuals.

MCH does not use marketing cookies.

No cookie consent banner is deployed on the MCH sites, because the only cookies set are strictly necessary and the analytics in use is cookieless.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to view the cookies stored for a site, to block or delete them, and to be warned before a cookie is set. If you block or delete the strictly necessary cookies you will be signed out, and the signed-in features of the MCH Research platform, including premium data downloads, will not work until you sign in again.
