Publication calendar
General and impersonal investment research. Not personal financial advice. Forecasts, valuations and model outputs are estimates and may be wrong. See Investment Disclaimer.
MCH Analysis publishes general research on a regular, published schedule, identically to every reader.
| Publication | Cadence | What it contains |
|---|---|---|
| Single-name research (ratings, fair values, estimated returns) | Each US trading day, after the close | The research run starts at 02:00 South African time, Tuesday to Saturday, after the previous US session has closed, and re-values every covered name. Ratings, fair values and rating changes are published on the public report pages at the same moment for every reader. |
| Rankings, screens and Alpha Lab | With each research run | Rebuilt from the same run. Each ranking is a deterministic sort of one published field — how each is defined. |
| Weekly research brief (e-mail) | Mondays, 06:00 South African time | A summary of the week’s research: what changed, research updated, catalysts and the published track record. It announces updated research and links to it; it never carries a rating change or any call to act. |
| Best Ideas | Monthly — with the first research run of each calendar month | A dated report frozen from that run, with a rationale for every name and a link to its analysis. It does not change between editions. Current edition. |
| Focus research basket (equal-weight) | Recomputed with each research run | A rule-based, equal-weight research basket of the top names by conviction, used for the risk and correlation figures on the basket page. It is described by its methodology, never by any type of investor, and is not a portfolio for anyone. |
| Event-driven updates | As events occur, in the next research run | A result, deal or other event is reflected by re-publishing the complete report with its analysis — never as a stand-alone tip. |
What is never published
- Intraday trade alerts.
- Entry prices, exit prices or stop-loss levels.
- Contract-specific option trade structures (an underlying with a strike, an expiry and a direction).
- Position sizes, or anything based on a reader’s holdings, capital, objectives or risk profile.
A schedule can slip when a run is held for a data or quality fault; a held name keeps its last published report, dated, and the exception register names it with its reason.
