They describe categories of investment, typical costs and published evidence; they do not recommend a product, a provider or a course of action for you. Fund charges, contribution limits and tax rules change — verify any figure against the provider’s current minimum disclosure document and the South African Revenue Service before you act on it. Where those pages give an ordering of general priorities, that is a description of what the evidence supports for a typical investor, not advice about your circumstances.

Our research universe is US-listed equities — 858 names across the NYSE · NASDAQ (the S&P 900 (S&P 500 + MidCap 400)). Prices, fundamentals, options chains and other market data come from third-party vendors. We take reasonable care but do not warrant that vendor data is accurate, complete or current, and a vendor error can flow into a published figure. Where we detect one, we correct it and re-publish.

The author may hold positions in instruments mentioned. We take no payment from any company, issuer, fund or broker in exchange for coverage, a rating or a price target, and we have no sell-side or corporate-finance business whose interests our research must accommodate.
